On-Site ACT Training Courses
One-Day
Class
This 5-hour class will provide high school students an overview of all four
ACT tests: English, Math, Reading, and Science Reasoning. Students will
spend equal time on each section, learning strategies that are specific
to each test, reviewing English and math concepts, and taking practice
tests in class.
Materials
The class will use only authentic ACT tests. The English-Reading and Math-Science Workbooks have
been written by Dr. Ene-Kaja Chippendale and Dr. Gary Moss and include
both content review and practice exercises.
Drs. Chippendale and
Moss have coached ACT classes for over 20 years, and their materials incorporate
many tested and successful strategies. Their classes include the
Bright Flight Academy, which offers
students with 29's and 30's a money-back guarantee if they do not score
a 31.
Instructors
All instructors are experienced ACT specialists who hold advanced degrees
in the subjects they coach. Students can, therefore, receive a level of
feedback that is not possible from coaches who are only trained to teach
the test. Two specialists will teach each class.
Cost for one group is $750
(two concurrent groups $1500) plus $45/student for materials.
Mileage assessed at $.44/mi. Schools farther than two-hour driving
distance will provide over-night accommodation.
